On 25 July 2026, the Sentinel-2 satellite looked down on the fjord coastline of Baffin Island, Nunavut — and caught turquoise meltwater lakes threading through dark rock terrain, with icebergs scattered across the deep-blue water beyond the shore like puzzle pieces broken loose from the coast.

Thirteenth Canada piece in the catalogue and the first from the high Arctic — a companion in spirit to The Iceberg Lagoon and The Ice Jam, matched on the same scattered-ice-against-open-water composition, this time on Canadian ground.
