On 7 July 2025, Sentinel-2 looked down on the City of Timmins, Ontario, whose motto is "The City with a Heart of Gold". The city limit takes in roughly 3,000 square kilometres of Northern Ontario forest, rivers and mine land, and OpenStreetMap maps more than 1,500 lakes and ponds inside it, along with the rivers that join them. This map edition draws all of that water in gold over a dimmed satellite image, so the lakes read like veins of gold running through the city.
