On 6 February 2026, Sentinel-2 looked down on Florida's Space Coast, from New Smyrna Beach to Cape Canaveral. The beach of Canaveral National Seashore is a nesting ground for loggerhead, green and leatherback sea turtles, with the season running April to October; the National Park Service counted more than 17,900 nests on Apollo and Playalinda beaches in 2026. Just south of the seashore stand Launch Complexes 39A and 39B at Kennedy Space Center. This map edition marks the seashore's beach in gold, from its northern to its southern boundary. No. 3 in the series Where the Turtles Meet.
